Event Details

The St. Mark's Players is a successful, nonprofit community theatre company now celebrating it's twenty-fourth season on Capitol Hill. The Players' productions are regularly recognized for their high quality. Last seasons' shows - Showtune, Jesus Christ Superstar, and A Midsummer Night's Dream - were all enthusiastically received. This season our shows and performance dates are -- The Last Night of Ballyhoo (November 2006), M. Butterfly (March 2007), and Bye, Bye Birdie (May 2007). All three of these shows were Tony award-winning shows when they originally ran on broadway.

Our performers come from throughout the Washington area and have extensive theatrical experience. Performances are staged in historic St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill. Our audiences include residents of Capitol Hill, as well as visitors from other parts of the city and nearby Virginia and Maryland suburbs. Placing an advertisement in the St. Mark’s Players’ show programs offers you a wonderful opportunity to present your business to the community. Our audience members take home programs and read and re-read them for years, extending the life of your advertisement. Of course, the per-unit cost to advertise is the most attractive if you choose to advertise in the programs for all three shows this season.

Policy Advertisers must prepare the layout for ads, and it is preferable to provide your artwork at the time you order an ad. Camera-ready copy or electronic files (tif, eps, jpeg) are preferred, but hard copy is acceptable and we can help you make up small ads. Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of all information included in the ad. Advertising materials are not returned to the advertiser unless this is requested in writing at the time the materials are submitted. Payment can be made online.

To Order Advertising Please use this online form to fill out the requested information and to make your payment. Next, please e-mail layout, or camera-ready art to president@stmarksplayers.org. St Marks Players

The St. Mark's Players is a participatory community theater company with its own Board of Directors. Performing in the 100 year-old National Historic Landmark St. Mark's Church, the Players are chartered under the auspices of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in order to use the theatrical medium to provide an avenue through which we explore our lives, see ourselves more clearly, and serve our community.
